Biography

Senior (2014):

Kuehl played in 13 games for Emory during her senior campaign,including seven in a starting role.  She helped the squadrecord a goals-against average of 0.44, the 13th-bestmark in Division III in 2014.  The midfielder took one shotduring the year and assisted on one goal, the game-winning strikeagainst Covenant College on October 7th.  Shestarted and played the entirety of the Eagles’ NCAATournament game against Kenyon College, logging a season-high 90minutes during the contest.  Kuehl played in 38 games duringher career, making 24 starts.

Junior (2013):

Kuehl returned from injury to appear in five games for Emoryduring the 2013 season.  She made one start during thecampaign, playing the entirety of the Eagles’ 8-0 shutout winagainst Agnes Scott on October 23rd.  Kuehl tookfour shots in the game, two of which were on goal.  Seeing themajority of her playing time at the holding midfield position, shehelped an Emory defense that shutout 10 opponents and ranked20th in Division III with a 0.557 goals-against average,while limiting the opposition to 8.95 shots and 3.3 shots on goalper game.  Her play helped the Eagles outscore their opponents21-2 in games she appeared in.  Kuehl finished the season withsix shots, including four on goal, during her 222 minutes on thefield.

Sophomore (2012):

Kuehl missed the entire 2012 season due to injury.

Freshman (2011):

Kuehl made an immediate impact on the Eagles' defense as afreshman, earning an honorable mention to the all-UniversityAthletic Association (UAA) team during her first year withEmory.  The outside back was a part of an Emorydefense that set a school record with just five goals allowed and a0.242 goals-against average, the third-lowest mark among DivisionIII squads in 2011.  In addition, the Eagles backline set anew program high-water mark with 16 shutouts during the campaign,and were third in the nation with a 0.8 shutoutpercentage. Kuehl helped the Emory defense limit opponents tojust 6.35 shots per game and 2.6 shots on goal per game during thecampaign.  Playing in all 20 games and making 16 starts, her1,450 minutes played were the 12th most in a single season in theprogram's history.  Kuehl took three shots during thecampaign, one of which was on goal.

Played on the Zionsville Community High School soccer team forfour seasons, serving as the team captain from 2010-11... Was namedher team's Most Valuable Player in 2011 and was named to theall-state second team in 2010 and 2011... Also earned academicall-America honors in 2011 and academic all-state recognition in2010 and 2011... Coached  by Ramon Aguillon... Also playedclub soccer for Carmel United from 2005-11, helping the team to astate championship in 2011... Was coached by Beth Goetz on her clubteam... Also ran track in high school.

Personal:

Born April 22, 1993... Worked as a researcher at the IndianaUniversity hospital over the summer.
