Biography

Senior (2017):

Played in 14 games, making seven starts as a senior…Registered one goal for two points…Made her first start of the season on September 23rd, playing 39 minutes against Agnes Scott College…Scored her lone tally of the year in the Eagles’ 3-0 win over #22 Brandeis University on October 15th…Finished the year with 20 shot attempts including 12 on target.

Junior (2016):

Ardizzone played in all 17 games as junior including 16 in a starting role at the midfield position…Registered a career-high six points on the strength of two goals and two assists…Recorded the gamer-winner, converting a PK in Emory’s 7-0 win over Averett University on September 1st…Added a goal in the Eagles’ 3-0 win over the University of Redlands on September 5th…Assisted on the game-winning goal in the team’s 4-0 win at Birmingham-Southern on September 16th…Added an assist in Emory’s 4-0 win over Case Western Reserve on October 14th…Finished with 24 shots with eight on goal…Logged a season-high 110 minutes at University of Rochester in the season finale on November 5th.

Sophomore (2015):

Ardizzone had a breakout season as a sophomore for the Eagles, playing in all 18 games and making 17 starts. She helped the defensive limit the opposition to just 14 goals in 18 games from her center midfielder position. Ardizzone was named an All-UAA Honorable Mention for the first time in her career for her efforts. She posted one goal and two assists for four points. She had assists in wins over LaGrange College on September 16th and Brooklyn College on September 25th. She scored her first career goal on October 27th in Emory’s 1-1 tie with Division I Kennesaw State. She recorded 20 shots on the season with 13 being on goal.

Freshman (2014):

Ardizzone played in 14 games off the bench for Emory during her freshman season.  She finished the year with a pair of assists – one in a 2-0 win against Covenant College on October 7th and the other on the team’s only goal in a 1-1 double-overtime tie at Brandeis University on October 19th.  The midfielder logged a season-high 81 minutes during the team’s 1-0 double-overtime win at Centre College on September 28th.  Ardizzone took 13 shots during the season, five of which were on goal.

Prior to Emory:

Played for four years at Horace Greeley High School, serving as the team captain from 2013-14... Was an all-state selection from 2012-13, in addition to earning all-league honors from 2011-12 and all-section recognition from 2013-14... Was coached by Erin Tracey in high school... Played club soccer for the NY Rush Patriots for six years, where she was coached by Steve Davis... Helped her club win the NPL National Championship in 2013, the NY Cup in 2014, and the Disney Showcase in 2012... Also played basketball in high school.

Personal:

Born August 3rd... Was a member of the student government and won the Class Advisor's Award in high school... Was a Nita Lowey Congressional Recognition Award winner...Daughter of John and Lisa Ardizzone.
