Sophomore (2009):
Short played in all 18 games during the season, making twostarts and finishing the season with two goals for fourpoints. Her first collegiate goal came on September 13th, theeventual game winner during the Eagles' 3-0 win over MillsapsCollege. She followed that performance with the first goal inEmory's 2-1 overtime win over Birmingham Southern College in thenext contest. Short took 17 shots during the season, 12 ofwhich were on goal.
Freshman (2008):
Short played in 16 games for the Eagles during the 2008 season,coming off the bench for each appearance. The freshmanrecorded two assists during the season, both coming during Emory's6-1 win over Brewton-Parker College on September 23rd.

Prior to Emory:
Played for four seasons on the Charlottesville High School soccerteam, serving as the team captain during her senior season. Scored29 goals with 60 assists during her high school career. Was namedto the regional second team and all-district first team her senioryear, and the all-district second team and central Virginia teamher junior year. Coached by Fernando Opere in high school. Playedfor the SOCA club team, where she was coached by Brian Kuk. Alsoran track and cross country in high school.
