Senior (2013):
Costopoulos wrapped up her Emory career by earning sports on theall-University Athletic Association (UAA) First Team and the NSCAAAll-South Atlantic Region Second Team. She finished the yearthird on the team with 13 points and tied for second with fivegoals, while adding on three assists during the campaign. Thecenter midfielder and team captain started all 19 games she playedin during the year, taking a career-high 41 shots, including 18shots on goal. Costopoulos registered a pair of goals(including the game winner) during the Eagles’ 3-1 victoryover then fourth-ranked Lynchburg on September15th. Her second game-winning score of thecampaign was the only goal during Emory’s 1-0 win at CaseWestern Reserve on November 3rd. She added goalsduring Emory’s season-opening win at then16th-ranked Wheaton (Mass.) and during the team’sconference victory over New York University. Costopoulos alsoassisted on the game-winning goal against Centre on September29th, and on goals in NCAA Tournament games againstPiedmont and Lynchburg. In addition, she was recognized forher academic achievements, earning Capital One/ CoSIDA AcademicAll-America Second Team and NSCAA Scholar All-South Region FirstTeam honors. Costopoulos ended her career tied for first inschool history with 85 career games played, third with 11 careergame-winning goals, eighth with 25 total goals and 10thwith 63 points.
Junior (2012):
Costopoulos was recognized as an NSCAA All-South Atlantic RegionFirst Team and All-University Athletic Association (UAA) SecondTeam performer for the 2012 season. She matched her owncareer high and tied for the team lead with eight goals during theseason (tied for seventh among UAA players), including a team-highfour game-winning goals, the 86th-best mark among Division IIIplayers and tied for third among UAA players. Her 19 pointswere the second-most among Eagles in 2012 and marked a new careerhigh for the junior. Costopoulos scored a goal inthree-straight games from September 7th - 15th, including thegame-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Meredith College onSeptember 9th, tied for the third-longest streak in school history. In conference play, the co-captain recorded a goal and twoassists, including the game-winning score against Rochester onOctober 14th, and an assist on a game-winning goal against CaseWestern Reserve on October 12th. In NCAA Tournament play,Costopoulos scored the second goal in the Eagles' 2-0 second-roundwin over Centre College, her school-record tying fourth careerpostseason goal. She also converted a penalty kick in theshootout against Carnegie Mellon in the NCAA quarterfinals, helpingEmory advance to the NCAA Final Four. Starting 20 of the 24games she played in, she finished the year with 36 shots, 20 ofwhich were on goal. Through three seasons, Costopoulos istied for 11th in school history with 20 career goals, 17th with 50career points, and fourth with nine career game-winning goals. In addition, she was named to both the Capital One/CoSIDAAcademic All-America Second Team and Academic All-District squadfor her efforts both on the field and in the classroom. Alongwith teammate Lauren Gorodetsky, the two became the sixth andseventh Academic All-Americans in the history of the Emory women'ssoccer program, and the 134th and 135th in Emory Athleticshistory.
Sophomore (2011):
Costopoulos played in all 20 Emory games during her sophomorecampaign, making a pair of starts. She finished the year tiedfor the team lead with six assists, while scoring four goals of herown for a total of 14 points. Two of her goals weregame-winners, including an overtime 'golden goal' duringa 3-2 win over New York University, the second game-winningovertime strike of her career. Costopoulos also scored thegame-winning goal during the Eagles' 6-0 win over Agnes ScottCollege on September 28th. She assisted on game-winning goalsagainst Berry College on October 22nd, and against Piedmont Collegeduring the NCAA Tournament on November 12th. The centermidfielder totaled 27 shots during the year, 13 of which were ongoal. Costopoulos also earned a spot on the Capital OneAcademic All-District team for her performances both on the fieldand in the classroom during the season. After her sophomoreseason, she has scored 12 goals and assisted on seven others for 31career points.
Freshman (2010):
Costopoulos became the first Emory women's soccer player to benamed the University Athletic Association's (UAA) Rookie of theYear, after finishing second in the conference with four goals andseven points in UAA games. She also earned all-UAA secondteam honors for her efforts. During the season, she appearedin a school-record tying 22 games off the bench, leading all Emoryplayers with eight goals, 17 points and three game-winninggoals. Costopoulos set Emory's career record with three goalsduring NCAA Tournament matches, despite appearing in her firstpostseason. She became the second player in Emory history tohave a multiple-goal game during the NCAA Championships, scoringboth goals during the Eagles' 2-0 first-round win over MaryvilleCollege. Costopoulos added a goal during the Eagles' 2-1quarterfinal loss to Hardin-Simmons College, and a penalty kickduring a 9-8 shootout win against Wheaton College (Ill.) during theround of 16. She scored both goals during the Eagles' 2-0 winover UAA-rival Brandeis University on October 17th, and the 'goldengoal' during Emory's 2-1 overtime win over Case Western ReserveUniversity on October 21st. Her only assist of the seasoncame on the game-winning goal against New York University onOctober 15th. She was named the UAA Offensive Player of theWeek for Women's Soccer on October 18th and November 1st.

Played for four seasons on the Boca Raton Community High Schoolsoccer team, serving as the team captain during her junior andsenior campaigns... Was named Sun-Sentinel Player of the Year hersenior year, while earning Sun-Sentinel first team all-countyhonors during her freshman, junior and senior years... Was namedfirst team all-county by the by the Palm Beach Post her junior andsenior years... Earned team MVP honors her senior year... Scoredseven goals (including two game-winners) in three post-seasonmatches to lead Boca Raton to a berth in the state final in 2010...Was coached by Rachael Grimes in high school...
