Senior (2014):
Lucas earned the first postseason honors of her career duringher senior campaign, as she was named to the NSCAA All-SouthAtlantic Region Third Team and the All-University AthleticAssociation First Team. She appeared in 17 games for theEmory defense during the season, starting 16, and helped the Eaglesrecord a 0.438 goals-against average (the 13th-lowestmark in Division III in 2014). Lucas and the Eagles recorded11 shutouts, while limiting opponents to averages of 7.6 shots and3.4 shots on goal per game. The outside back matched hercareer-high with a pair of assists during the year, one comingduring the team’s 3-1 win over Capital University onSeptember 21st, and the second in the Eagles’ 3-0victory over Case Western Reserve University on November2nd. She took 13 shots over the course of theseason, six of which were on goal, including four shots and threeon goal against Covenant College on October 7th. Lucas ended her career with six assists over the course of 73 gamesplayed, including 40 as a starter.
Junior (2013):
Lucas played in all 21 games for Emory in 2013, making 11 startsfor the Eagles’ defense. The outside back a key part ofan Emory backfield that shutout 10 opponents and ranked20th in Division III with a 0.557 goals-against average,while limiting the opposition to 8.95 shots and 3.3 shots on goalper game. Lucas matched her career-high with two assists,with both coming during the Eagles’ 8-0 win over Agnes Scotton October 23rd. One of her assists during thecontest came on the eventual game-winning goal. Lucas totaled1,274 minutes, the sixth-most by an Eagle during the year, taking13 shots, including three on goal.
Sophomore (2012):
Lucas emerged as one of the top defensive players on the squadduring the 2012 season. Splitting time between outside backand the midfield, Lucas started each of Emory's last nine gamesduring the year (including all six NCAA Tournament contests), andplayed 493 of the team's 560 minutes during the NCAA Championships,earning a spot on the NCAA All-Tournament Team. She was oneof 12 players to appear in a school-record 24 games during theyear, making a total of 12 starts, and helping the team recorda .461 goals-against average, the 13th-best mark in Division III,and a 0.583 shutout percentage, the 30th-best mark in the country. Lucas and the Eagles defense also held opponents to 7.1 shotsand 3.6 shots on goal per game. She also assisted on a pairof goals during the year, with one coming on the game-winning goalagainst the University of Chicago on September 29th. Lucastook 16 shots during the year, six of which were on goal.
Freshman (2011):
Lucas appeared in 11 games for the Eagles during her freshmanseason. She made her one start of the season during Emory's2-0 win at Berry College on October 22nd. Lucas finished theseason with three shots, one of which was on goal.
