Senior (2006):
Dean was named an All-University Athletic Association honorablemention in 2006. She tied a career best with 11 points forthe Eagles during and registered a career-high four goals duringher senior campaign. Her game of the season came againstReinhardt College (Ga.), when she scored two goals (including thegame-winning goal) and an assist in a 7-1 Emory win. Shestarted all 17 games for the Eagles, taking 43 shots, 15 of whichwere on goal. For her contributions both on the pitch and inthe classroom, Dean was named to the Academic All-District secondteam. She finishes her Emory career with nine goals and 12assists for 30 points over 58 games.
Junior (2005):
Rebounding for an injury last season, Jessie Dean led Emory withfive assists and appeared in every game for the Eagles includingstarting 17 of 18. Dean was third in points (11) and tied for thirdin goals (3). With two goals within a 50 second span and added anassist, Dean had five points and scored the game-winning goalagainst Oglethorpe University (Ga.) During the same week she scoredthe game winner against Rhodes College (Tenn.) and earned herUniversity Athletic Association Offensive Athlete of the Weekhonors. Dean was also named Emory Offensive Athlete of the Weekafter scoring a goal and an assist in the season opener againstRoanoke College (Va.). Dean had three game-winning assists,including two on overtime golden goals.
Sophomore (2004):
Jessie Dean missed most of the season with an injury. Shestarted four games and had one assist.
Freshman (2003):
Freshman midfielder Jessie Dean was given an honorable mentionon the all-conference team. Dean was one of two Emory freshmen toreceive the honor. Dean finished the season with two goals andthree assists. Both of her goals were game-winning goals, whichtied her for the team lead in the category. One of eight players toplay in all 19 games.
