Senior (2007):
English earned her first postseason honors in 2007, as she wasnamed to the all-University Athletic Association (UAA) first teamafter leading all conference players in goals during the season,and finishing second in points. English started all 20 ofEmory's games during the season, one of just three Emory players todo so. The senior scored led all Eagles with 11 goals scored,the 13th-best single-season total in school history, and 27 totalpoints, the 12th-best single-season mark by an Eagle. Sherecorded the first hat trick of her career against the Universityof the South (Tenn.) on September 16th, scoring three goals andadding one assist for seven points in the game. She alsorecorded two-goal games against then 17th-ranked Rhodes College(Tenn.) and then fourth-ranked Washington University (Mo.), scoringthe game-winning goal in both matches as well. AgainstWashington, English scored the ‘golden goal' during thesecond-overtime period, giving Emory a 3-2 victory over itsconference rival. English assisted on two game-winning goalsduring the season, one against Maryville College (Tenn.) and theother against Brandeis University (Mass.). She finished herEmory career with six game-winning assists, tied for theseventh-best mark in Emory history, eighth in school history with21 career goals, and 11th with 58 points. English was namedto the D3kicks.com Team of the Week on October 10th, was twicenamed the UAA Athlete of the Week and earned a spot on the CoSIDAAcademic All-District second team for her performances both on thefield and in the classroom.
Junior (2006):
English played in seven games for the Eagles, making five startsduring the campaign. She finished the year with two goals andone assist for a total of five points. The junior forwardscored the only two goals in a 2-0 Emory win over GreensboroCollege (N.C.). English took ten shots during the season, sixof which were on goal.
Sophomore (2005):
Sophomore Jamie English scored two goals and two assists in thefirst four games of the season before suffering an injury that kepther out the rest of the season. Before her injury English led theteam in points (6), goals, and was tied for most assists. She had agoal and an assist against Hartwick College (N.Y.) which earned herEmory Offensive Athlete of the Week Honors.
Freshman (2004):
Freshman Jamie English led the team in points (20) and assists(8) and tied for second in goals (6). She is the sixth Emoryfreshman to lead her team in scoring. Her season ranks among thebest all-time for Emory freshmen, placing third in assists, 10th inpoints, and 13th in goals. English was the only Eagle to score fivepoints in a game, scoring two goals and one assist against Wesleyan(Ga.). She had two four-point games, scoring two goals againstWisconsin-Whitewater, and a goal and two assists against Oglethorpe(Ga.).
