Biography

Senior (2013):

Mullins was once again one of the top midfielders in theUniversity Athletic Association (UAA) during her senior campaign,earning an honorable mention to the all-conference squad.  Shestarted each of the 19 games she played in, serving as theEagles’ holding midfielder and helping lead an Emory defensethat shutout 10 opponents and ranked 20th in DivisionIII with a 0.557 goals-against average, while limiting theopposition to 8.95 shots and 3.3 shots on goal per game. Mullins finished the season with three goals, each of which provedto be a game-winning score (tying her for the team lead in thecategory during the campaign).  Her signature game of theseason came against then 11th-ranked Lynchburg in thesecond round of the NCAA Championships, with Mullins playing all 90minutes to help shut down one of the nation’s top offenses,while also scoring the game-winning goal on a penalty kick late inthe first half of the contest.  She also scored thegame-winning goals during Emory victories at Wheaton (Mass.) onSeptember 1st and against Brandeis on October20th.  Mullins started and played in all but twogames during her Emory career, and will graduate as theprogram’s all-time leader in starts and games played with 85of each.  She totaled 16 goals and 10 assists for 42 pointsover her career, and ends her time with Emory ranked second inschool history with 79 career shots on goal, third with 200 shots,tied for fourth with 10 game-winning goals and 20th with16 total goals.  

Junior (2012):

For the third-straight season, Mullins started every Emory gameduring the season, one of five players to set a program record with24 starts for the year.  She finished the year with four goalsand one assist for nine points.  Mullins opened the season bylifting the Eagles to a victory against top-ranked Messiah College,converting a penalty kick in overtime to give Emory a 2-1 win. It was the only goal scored in the second half or lateragainst Messiah during the entire season.  She also hadgame-winning scores against the University of the South onSeptember 15th and Berry College on September 23rd.  Inconference play, she recorded a goal during Emory's 5-0 win overCase Western Reserve University on October 12th.  Mullins wasthe Eagles' first shooter during the NCAA Quarterfinals shootoutagainst Carnegie Mellon, and converted a pair of shots, allowingthe team to advance to the NCAA Semifinals for the first time inthe program's history.  She was second on the team with 61shots during the season, 21 of which were on goal.  At the endof her junior season, Mullins is tied for 11th in school historywith seven game-winning goals, and will begin her senior year 11games shy of the school record for career starts and 15 games shortof the program mark for career games played.

Sophomore (2011):

Mullins earned the first post-season honors of her career duringthe 2011 season, as the sophomore was named to the all-SouthAtlantic Region and all-University Athletic Association (UAA) firstteams.  She was fourth among all Emory players with 15 pointsduring the year, and third with six goals to go along with herthree assists.  Starting all 20 games during the campaign,Mullins scored game-winning goals against UAA opponents CaseWestern Reserve University (October 14th) and Brandeis University(October 28th), and assisted on the game-winning goal in theEagles' 3-0 victory over Piedmont College in the first round of theNCAA Tournament, one of two assists she recorded in the game. She was fourth among all UAA players with three goals and fifthwith six points during conference play.  Mullins scored goalsin three-straight games for Emory from September 23rd - 28th. She was also a part of an Emory defense that set a school recordwith just five goals allowed and a 0.242 goals-against average, thethird-lowest mark among Division III squads in 2011.  Inaddition, the Eagles backline set a new program high-water markwith 16 shutouts during the campaign, and were third in the nationwith a 0.8 shutout percentage.  Mullins helped the Emorydefense limit opponents to just 6.35 shots per game and 2.6 shotson goal per game during the campaign.  The center midfielderwas second on the team with 46 shots during the year, 24 of whichwere on goal.  Mullins was named the UAADefensive Athlete of the Week on October 24th.  She endedher sophomore campaign with nine goals and nine assists for 27points, and has started each of Emory's 42 games during her twoseasons on the team.

Freshman (2010):

Mullins was the only Emory freshman to start all 22 games duringthe season, and finished the year with 1,782 minutes played, thesecond-most in the program's history.  She led all Emoryplayers with six assists during the season, and her 12 points werethe fourth-most by an Eagle in 2010.  Mullins added on threegoals, including the game-winning scores during the Eagles' 7-0 winover Agnes Scott College on September 22nd and their 4-1 win overOglethorpe University on October 12th.  She finished the AgnesScott game with a season-best five points, coming on two goals andan assist.  Despite playing in her first postseason, Mullinsis already tied for Emory's career lead with two assists in NCAATournament matches, one coming on the game-winning goal againstMaryville College, and the other on the game-tying goal againstWheaton College.  Mullins had a season-best two assists atMaryville College during the regular season on September26th.  She was also a contributor to an Emory defensethat recorded a 0.56 goals-against average, the 23rd-lowest markamong NCAA Division III teams during the year. Opponents averagedjust 4.1 shots on goal per game against the Eagles' defense,including 11 games of three shots on goal or less.  Mullinswas named the University Athletic Association's (UAA) DefensivePlayer of the Week on September 27th.

Born October 14, 1991... Was a member of the Spanish HonorSociety and served as the National Honor Society President.
