Senior (2011):
Rotating between an outside midfield position and center backfor the Eagles during the 2011 campaign, Rubel was a key componentto the Eagles' success during her senior year. Starting 18games and playing in all 20 for Emory, bothcareer highs, Rubel finished the year with one assist,coming during a 1-1 tie against University Athletic Association(UAA) rival University of Chicago. She was a part of an Emorydefense that set a school record with just five goals allowed and a0.242 goals-against average, the third-lowest mark among DivisionIII squads in 2011. In addition, the Eagles backline set anew program high-water mark with 16 shutouts during the campaign,and were third in the nation with a 0.8 shutoutpercentage. Rubel helped the Emory defense limit opponents tojust 6.35 shots per game and 2.6 shots on goal per game during thecampaign. She finished the season with eight shots, five ofwhich were on goal. Rubel ends her Emory career with fourassists over 57 games, including 45 starts.
Junior (2010):
Rubel played in five games off the bench for Emory during herjunior campaign.
Sophomore (2009):
Rubel played in 15 games for the Emory defense, making 14 startsduring her sophomore season. She was a key member of theEagles' backline, which recorded a 1.14 goals against average whilehelping the team hold a 168-93 edge in shots on goal. Rubel took two shots during the seaon.
Freshman (2008):
Rubel made 13 starts and played in 17 games for the Emorydefense during her freshman campaign. She contributed to anEmory backfield that helped the Eagles outshoot opponents 375-135,and held opposing teams to a .0553 goals-against average, the23rd-lowest in Division III. Rubel added three assists on theseason, tying her for the third-best total on the team.

Prior to Emory:
Played for four seasons on the Laguna Beach High School soccerteam, serving as the squad's captain during her senior season.Scored 10 goals and 18 assists over 72 games during her collegiatecareer. Was a two-time co-Defensive Most Valuable Player of theOrange Coast League, and her team's Most Valuable Player in 2007.Was coached by Bill Rolfing in high school. Played six years forthe Laguna Niguel Rage, where she was coached by Dave Ortwein. Alsoplayed volleyball in high school.
