Samantha Gardella joined the Emory Women's Golf coaching staff prior to the 2025-26 season.

In her first season with the program, Gardella helped the Eagles remain on top of the Division III golf landscape with Emory capturing its second straight, and third overall, national championship in program history. She helped mentor four WGCA All-America honorees, including the National Player and National Rookie of the Year winners, as well as three All-UAA performers.
 
Prior to Emory, Gardella spent time as a caddie and has made back-to-back trips to the finals of the USGA Women's Mid-Amateur in 2021 and 2022 and has traveled to the European Mid-Amatuer.
 
Gardella has also been working as a photographer adding coverage of The Masters, PGA Tour, Atlanta United, Atlanta Dream and other popular events to her resume.
 
Gardella graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. She now resides in Atlanta full time.
