Biography
Senior (2024):
- 2024 All-Region
- 2024 First-Team All-UAA
- Competed in six meets, including all three championship meets
- Played a pivotal role in the Eagles tying the program record for best team-finish at the NCAA Championships. She was the second Eagle to cross the finish line to help Emory place 7th as a team and tie the previous record set by the team in 1997
- Made history alongside Brigid Hanley, becoming the first pair of teammates to finish first and second at the UAA Championships when she finished second overall at the conference championships
- Recorded a career best time at the UAA Championship Meet with a time of 21:18.0
- Played a key role in Emory's team wins at the Queen City Invite and Upstate Invitational, being the second Eagle to finish and in third overall at both meets.

Junior (2023):
- 2023 NCAA All-Region
- 2023 Second-Team All-UAA
- Competed in six meets for the Eagles in 2023
- Raced to a 2nd place individual finish with a career-best time of 21:36.8 at the Rowan Border Battle to help boost the Eagles to a first-place team finish
- Finished 10th overall at the UAA Championships to land on the conference's Second-Team
- Finished 4th overall at the NCAA South Regional with a time of 21:58.45
Sophomore (2022):
- 2022 USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors
- 2022 UAA Fall All-Academic Honors
- Competed in six meets this season for Emory
- Registered a season-best 22:39 at the Paul Short Run where she placed 87th out of 383 runners
- Placed 26th out of 176 runners at the NCAA Regional Championships with a time of 24:27
- Finished 43rd at the UAA Championships (23:39)
- Came close to beating her season-best at the UAB Classic after racing to a 22:55 finish
- Raced in the 5k at the Julius Johnson Invitational placing 12th out of 93 runners (19:54)
Freshman (2021):
In her inaugural season with the team, Scherrer proved herself an indispensable member of the Eagles program… She competed in six events, scoring in all six and placing no lower than third for Emory in any of the meets… Scherrer’s best performance of the season came at the NCAA DIII Championships where she matched her season-best time of 22:45 to place third for the Eagles and 150th overall… Scherrer earned All-Region acclaim when she placed fifth overall at the NCAA South Regional Championship crossing the finish line in 22:52… Scherrer matched her season-best time early in the season at the Converse Kickoff when she finished in 10th place out of 208 runners with a time of 22:45… Came in second for the Eagles and 18th overall at the UAA Championships (23:51)… Placed second overall at the 5,760m Emory vs. Oglethorpe Dual Meet with a time of 22:45… Also competed at the 5k Louisville Sports Commission Classic where she came in 31st overall and second for Emory with a time of 23:08… Named a 2021 USTFCCCA Academic All-American.
