Team captain of both the cross country and track and field teams his senior season ... First team all-county in cross country his senior year ... In track, he was on the 4x800 relay team that finished second in the county and fifth at the state championship ... Top 5k time was a 16:36 as a senior ... Clocked a 9:57 in the 3200 meters his junior year.

Worked as a camp counselor over the summer... Also a member of the Emory Cross Country team.
