Prior to Emory:

Competed on the Dwight-Englewood School track and field teamduring his sophomore year... Recorded career-best marks of36.58 meters in the javelin throw and 12.9 seconds in the 100-meterdash... Coached by Jerald Krauthamer... Also played soccer andbasketball in high school.

Born March 8, 1993.
