Prior to Emory:
Was a four-year member of the Gilman School Track and Field team, serving a captain during his senior year... All-MIAA-A Conference honors his junior and senior years... Recorded career-best times of 1:58 in the 800-meter run and 51.8 seconds in the 400-meter dash... Team was the Tri-Dual Meet MIAA Outdoor Champion during his senior year... Coached by Johnnie Foreman, Joe Duncan and Matt Tully... Also played soccer in high school.
Personal:
Born April 14th... Worked as an intern with the Baltimore Orioles... Honor Roll all four years in high school.
