Competed on the La Jolla Country Day track and field team forfour seasons, serving as his team's captain during his senioryear... Helped the team to Coastal Conference championships from2008-2011... Recorded career-best marks of 1.63 meters in the highjump, 3.89 meters in the pole vault, 5.59 meters in the long jump,and 11.91 meters in the triple jump... Coached by Kevin Reume...Also ran cross country and played soccer in high school.
