Finished in the No. 8 spot out of 140 runners at the 2012 AA State Championship Meet with a personal-best time of 16:09 in the 5000 meters ... Was named his cross country's team MVP ... Finished runner-up in the Region 3 Championship ... Posted a seventh-place finish in the 3200 meters at the 2013 AA Outdoor State Championship with a personal-bets time of 9:39 ... Top effort in the 1600 meters (outdoor) was a 4:24 his final year.
