Prior to Emory:
Competed on the Parkway West High School for four seasons, earning three varsity letters... Was a two-time state qualifier in the discus... All-conference honoree in the shot put and discus in 2011 and 2012, and the district champion in the discus in 2011 and 2012... Recorded career-best throws of 48.5 feet in the shot put and 160.2 feet in the discus... Coached by Zaven Nalbandian and Tom Haddox in high school.
Personal:
Born August 19th... Two-time debate national qualifier and four-year scholar athlete in high school.
