Freshman (2006):
Boren's freshman season saw him finish 19-5 on the seasonin singles, participating in positions four through six. Hefinished 6-3 at No. 4, 2-0 at No. 5 and 8-1 at No. 6, while alsogoing 3-1 in ITA events during the fall. Boren also helpedEmory to the UAA Championship, going 3-0 in his matches. Indoubles play he finished 13-6, highlighted by going 6-2 withMichael Goodwin during ITA play. The two won the South Regionand finished sixth at the ITA Championships, earning All-Americahonors. Named first team All-UAA at No. 6 singles and second teamfor No. 3 doubles.
Prior to Emory:
Played for three years on the Cherry Creek High Schooltennis team... Was the number two singles player for two seasons...Was coached under the leadership of Kirk Price.
