Recorded All-America honors in singles ... Finished theyear with an overall singles record of 27-4 including a glittering21-2 dual effort at the No. 3 spot (22-2 dual mark overall) ...Concluded the year as the ITA's 21st-ranked Division III singlesplayer ... Recorded a 6-3, 6-0 decision over Kenyon College's MikeGreenberg in his opening match at the NCAA Singles Championship ...Impressive run during the UAA Championships, posting a 3-0 mark atNo. 3 singles, winning 36 of 42 games ... Won all four of hissingles outings (one match unfinished) during the team's NCAAappearance including a 6-4, 6-3 decision over UC-Santa Cruz's MaxOrtiz in the national semifinals ... Held down the No. 2 doublesspot with David Caplan and finished with an overall mark of 19-9(15-8 dual) ... Boren and Caplan advanced to the ITA Regionaldoubles championship match

Junior (2007-08):
Landed All-America honors after winning the singles titleat the ITA Regional Championships where he topped David Sutton ofGreensboro by a 6-2, 6-3 score in the title match ...   Wasnamed UAA Player of the Week following his performance at the ITARegional Championships ... Earned First Team All-UAA honors at No.2 singles and No. 2 doubles ... Recorded the deciding match pointin the team's UAA Championship match with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 thrillerover Washington University's Charlie Cutler at No. 2 singles helpedthe Eagles claim their 19th straight league crown ... Finished theyear with an overall record of 23-8, including a dual effort of16-6 ... Competed in the singles competition at the NCAA DivisionIII Championships ... Played both No. 2 and No. 3 doubles duringthe dual portion of the schedule, the majority at the No. 2 postduring the latter half of the spring campaign ... Sophomore (2006-07):
Successful sophomore campaign that ended with a singlesrecord of 22-6, the second-highest win total on the squad ...Played singles spots two through five ... Recorded a 7-1 mark atNo. 5, 4-2 at No. 4, 3-2 at No. 3 and 3-0 at No. 2 ... Went 5-1 atthe ITA Regionals and advanced to the championship match againstteammate Michael Goodwin ... Posted wins at No. 5 singles overAndre Thompson of Middlebury in the NCAA semifinals.

Freshman (2006):
Boren's freshman season saw him finish 19-5 on the seasonin singles, participating in positions four through six.  Hefinished 6-3 at No. 4, 2-0 at No. 5 and 8-1 at No. 6, while alsogoing 3-1 in ITA events during the fall.  Boren also helpedEmory to the UAA Championship, going 3-0 in his matches.  Indoubles play he finished 13-6, highlighted by going 6-2 withMichael Goodwin during ITA play.  The two won the South Regionand finished sixth at the ITA Championships, earning All-Americahonors. Named first team All-UAA at No. 6 singles and second teamfor No. 3 doubles.

Prior to Emory:
Played for three years on the Cherry Creek High Schooltennis team... Was the number two singles player for two seasons...Was coached under the leadership of Kirk Price.
