Swam for Socastee High School for four seasons, serving as theteam captain during his senior year... Recorded times of 4:38.81 inthe 500 Free, 1:43.28 in the 200 Free, 1:57.41 in the 200 IM and4:09.09 in the 400 IM... Was the State Champion in the 200 IM twiceand an all-region and all-state swimmer four times... A nine-timeUSS State Champion, five-time Junior National qualifier, and memberof the 2006 French National team... Coached by Dr. Jay Presslar andJames Smith... Also played golf in high school.
