Transfered from Oberlin College, where he was a two-year member of the swimming team... Competed in high school for two years Alan C. Pope High School, serving as a team captain during his senior year... High school's record holder in the 200 free relay... Recorded career-best times of 22.02 in the 50 free, 49.0 in the 100 free, 53.50 in the 100 fly and 53.82 in the 100 back... Coached by Chris Haon in high school... Coached on his club team by Pike Hightower... Was a section qualifier... Also played basketball and water polo and ran track and field in high school.

Born January 1st... Was an AP Scholar in high school.
