Prior to Emory:
Was a four-year member of the South Mecklenberg swim team...Served as a team captain as senior...Helped the team to a state championship three straight years in 2015, 2016 and 2017...Earned All-America honors in 2017 as a member of the 200 and 400 Freestyle Relays...Posted personal-best marks in the 50 Free (21.73), 100 Free (46.84), 200 Free (1:41.12) and 500 Free (4:35.14) as a senior in 2017.

Born on July 6th...Son of Meredith and Vance...Mom, Meredith, was a four-year member of the swim team at William & Mary.
