Prior to Emory:
Was a four-year letterwinner for the St. Xavier High School swim team, serving as the team captain his senior year... Swam career-best times of 46.94 in the 100 Free, 1:42.21 in the 200 Free, and 1:52.13 in the 200 Fly in high school... Helped his team to state and district titles all four years... Was coached by Jim Brower on his high school team, and by Ken Heis on his club team, the Mason Manta Rays.
Personal:
Born October 27th... Father played baseball at Virginia Tech for two years... Worked as a swim coach over the summer... Member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society in high school.
