Was a three-year swimmer for Lakeside High School, serving as the team's captain during his senio year... Recorded career-best times of 22.78 in the 50 free, 47.33 in the 100 free and 1:58.03 in the 200 IM... Helped his team to a first-place finishes in the county in 2010 and 2011... Coached by Tricia Neumayer... Also played basketball in high school.
