Senior (2004-05):

Black, a senior, finished 21st out of 40 competitors on the teamin points scored in dual and championship meets this season. Blackholds the 12th fastest time in Emory history in the 200-yardbreaststroke.

Junior (2003-04):

Black, a junior, earned two All-America certificates by swimmingthe breaststroke legs on the 200- and 400-yard medley relays.Black's times in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke events at theMiami (OH) Invitational were the fastest on the team this season.Black is the fourth-fastest individual in school history in bothbreaststroke events. He finished third in the 200-yard breaststrokeat the conference championships. Black was seventh on the team outof 32 competitors in points scored in dual and championship meets.

Sophomore (2002-03):

Black finished 10th out of 32 swimmers and divers for the mostpoints earned in dual and championship meets. In the UAAChampionships, he finished fifth in the 100 breastroke (59.05) andsecond in the 200 breastroke (2:06.62).
