Prior to Emory:
Swam for Wichita East High School for four years, serving as a team co-captain... Helped his team to the State Championship in 2013... Recorded career-best times of 52.00 in the 100 back, 1:50.90 in the 200 back, 1:56.99 in the 200 IM and 1:47.01 in the 200 free... Coached in high school by Joe Hutchinson, and on his club team by Brian Kupferer.
Personal:
Born August 23rd... Sister, Kaitie, swam for the University of Puget Sound... Was a three-time Scholastic All-American in high school.
