Prior to Emory:
Swam for Greenwich High School for four seasons, serving as theteam captain during his senior year... Recorded career-best timesof 46.6 seconds in the 100 fgree, 1:41.6 in the 200 free, and 4:40in the 500 free... Was a six-time all-American in the 200 and 400free relays... Won State Open Championships in 2009 and 2011...Coached by Terry Lowe and Nick Cavataro... Also played water poloin high school.
