2006-07 Men's Swimming and Diving
Biography
Senior (2006-07):
Callam earned three All-America honors during the 2006-07season, giving him nine over his Emory career, the seventh-besttotal in school history. The senior recorded three of thetop-10 times in school history in the 50-free during the season,and finishes his time at Emory with each of the top-five times inthe event. Callam also earned All-America honorable mentionsin the 200-free relay and the 100-free. He was the UniversityAthletic Association (UAA) Champion in three events, and led allEmory swimmers with six All-UAA honors. Callam scored 228points for the Eagles last season, the seventh-best total on thesquad.
Junior (2005-06):
Callam, a junior, earned All-America honors for the thirdconsecutive season. He earned two All-America certificatesand three All-America Honorable Mention honors. HisAll-America certificates were earned with his fourth place finishin the 800-yard freestyle and his fifth place finish in the200-yard medley relay. Callam earned four All-Conferencehonors this year including the title of Conference Champion in twoevents. Callam earned the title of Conference Champion withwins in the 200-yard freestyle relay and the 400-yard medley relay
Sophomore (2004-05):
Callam, a sophomore, earned All-America honors for the secondconsecutive season. This season he earned three All-Americancertificates--400-yard medley relay and as a member of the 200- and400-yard freestyle relays. Callam also earned an All-Conferencecertificate this year as a member of the 400-free relay team.Callam finished seventh out of 40 competitors in points scored indual and championship meets this season.
Freshman (2003-04):
Freshman Andrew Callam earned All-America honors as a member ofthe 400-yard freestyle relay, which finished third at the nationalchampionships. Callam also received All-America honorable mentionhonors by finishing 16th in the 100-yard freestyle. His time of46.69 seconds in the 100 free makes him the fourth-fastestindividual in that event in school history. Callam swam a leg onthe conference champion 200-yard freestyle relay.
