Biography

Senior (2005):
Hamm made the All-America team for the second consecutiveyear after finishing 22nd at the NCAA national championships. He isone of three Emory golfers ever to make the All-America team twice.Hamm shot a 304 at the nationals, the 13th-best ever by an Emorygolfer in the NCAA championships. He made the all-conference teamfor the second time and the all-state team for the first time. Hammwas second on the team with a 76.5 stroke average per 18 holes,16th lowest in school history. He was eighth in the field of 80golfers at the Division III Preview Tournament, in which teams playon the same course to be used for the national championships. Hammplaced among the top 20 individuals in three tournaments thisseason. He graduated in 10th place on the school's all-time listwith a career average of 77.15 shots per round.

Junior (2004):
Junior Timothy Hamm became the fifth Eagle ever to earnAll-America honors. Hamm, a second-team All-American, did so byfinishing seventh out of 120 golfers with a 72-hole score of 294(six-over-par) at the NCAA championships. His 294 is a schoolrecord at the NCAA tournament. Hamm shot a 71 on the final day,third-best ever by an Eagle in an NCAA championship. Hamm won theconference individual championship by beating out teammate JasonScherr on the first playoff hole. Hamm's conference title is the11th ever by an Eagle in the conference's 17-year history. As aresult, Hamm was named to the all-conference team for the firsttime in his career. Hamm finished eighth in the Georgia Cup, basedon season-long performances in selected tournament by NCAA DivisionIII golfers. He recorded the third-best season scoring average, anda personal best, in school history with his season stroke averageof 74.84 shots per round. He shot under 77 in 19 of his 25 roundsthis season. Hamm's season-best round was 69 at the PfeifferInvitational, and his best score for a 36-hole tournament was 142(done twice), tying the fifth-best score in school history. Hefinished in the top 10 in five tournaments and the top 20 in sixtournaments. In addition to winning the conference, Hamm also was aco-medalist, along with teammate Jason Scherr, at the MaryHardin-Baylor Invitational. That made him the sixth Eagle golferever to win two tournaments in a single season. Hamm had a seasonwon-loss record of 779-221. His career scoring average, 77.49, putshim on pace to finish ninth all-time in the Emory record book.

Sophomore (2003):
Hamm played in Emory's Fall and Spring Invitationals,firing four rounds in his second season golfing for the Eagles

Freshman (2002):
Averaged 78.0 strokes per round in 14 rounds played forthe Eagles. Posted one top-10 finish (Berry Invitational-sixth),two top-15 finishes (Williams Invitational-12th, Embry-RiddleClassic-12th), and one top-25 finish (Golden IslesInvitational-25th).
