Graduate Student (2024):

• 2024 All-Region honoree
• Competed in six events as a graduate student, including each of the three championship meets
• Was the first Eagle to cross the finish line at the Paul Short Run, recording a career-best time of 25:17.1 and finishing 30th in the highly competitive field
• Earned All-Region status, finishing 17th out of 160 runners at the NCAA South Regional Championship with a time of 25:20.1
• Contributed to the Eagles' overall team score at the NCAA National Championship, finishing 194th out of 294 runners with a time of 25:44.7

Senior (2023):

• Competed in seven meets for the Eagles in 2023, including the NCAA National Championships, NCAA Regional, and UAA Championship
• Posted his best time of the season in the NCAA National Championship, finishing in 25:59.4 and in 147th place
• Finished 29th at the UAA Championships (26:13.3)
• Recorded a time of 16:11.3 at the 5k Stan Sims Opener

Junior (2022):

• 2022 UAA Fall All-Academic Honors
• Competed in five events for the Eagles
• Registered a season-best 25:36 at the UAB Classic finishing 34th out of 176 athletes
• Raced at the Julius Johnson Invitational finishing 20th out of 99 runners (27:08)
• Took home 16th out of 130 at the Alexander Asics Invitational with a time of 25:56
• Helped the Eagles win the UAA Championships with a finish of 26:52

Sophomore (2021):

Late in the season, Olpin emerged as a key contributor to the Eagles… Olpin turned in a scoring effort at the NCAA DIII Championships finishing fifth for the Eagles and 200^th overall with a season-best time of 25:32… Olpin was named to the All-region team for his 17^th place finish at the NCAA South Regional Championships (26:16)… Scored with a fifth place finish for the Eagles and 32^nd place overall finish at the UAA Championships registering a time of 26:44… Olpin finished second amongst the Emory contingent at the Alexander Asics Invitational posting a time of 26:15… He registered a second-place overall finish and first amongst all Eagles at the 7200m Emory vs. Oglethorpe Dual Meet (24:56)… Also competed at the Converse Kickoff (26:56) and the UAB Classic (26:10)… Was named to the UAA Fall All-Academic Team… Named a 2021 USTFCCCA Academic All-American.

High School:

Competed in cross country and track for 4 years at Keith Country Day High School… Served as a team captain his senior year in cross country and track… Was coached by Alan Olpin and Nick Newcomer… His top time in the mile was 4:27 and came in 2019… Recorded a personal best of 9:49 in the two mile in 2019… Awarded high honors with distinction his freshman through senior year.

Personal:

He plans to major in Psychology.
