Best outing came at the VikingOpen where he helped the team by crossing the finish line first onthe team and fourth overall out of 132 runners with a personal-best8K time of 26:41 ... Posted a 23rd-place effort out of 93 entriesat the Gulf Coast Stampede with an 8K mark of 27:39 ... Was part ofthe Eagles' contingent that competed at the UAA Championships.

Junior (2011):
Competed in the Eagles' first five events of the season... Came through with a career-best 8K time of 27:12 that was goodfor second among Emory performers and 19th overall out of 94runners at the JSU Foothills Invitational ... Posted an8K outing of 27:20 that ranked 25th overall out of 133contestants at the Berry College Invitational ... Also competed atthe Sewanee Invitational, Griak Invitational and theUW-Oshkosh/Brooks Invitational.

Sophomore (2010):
Ran in five of the team's seven meets ... Turned in athen career-best 8k time of 27:16 that paced the Emory contingentand ranked 10th overall out of 113 runners at the Berry CollegeInvitational ... Registered a 27:49, his second-best 8k time, atthe Greater Louisville Classic ... Crossed the finish line in 24thplace overall out of 104 contestants at the Sewanee Invitational... Competed at the UAA Championships.

Freshman (2009):
Competed in four events ... Was the team's No. 5 runnerand finished 12th out of 68 entries at the Quaker Invitational(Oct. 17) with an 8K time of 28:32 ... Season-best effort came atthe Foothills Invitational when he clocked a 27:58 ... Also took tothe course at the Sewanee Invitational (Sept. 5) and UGAInvitational.

Prior to Emory: Competed on both the cross countryand track teams at Parkview High School ... Ran a 4:32 in the 1600meters his senior year ... In 2008 he recorded a 5K mark of17:02 ... Was a member of the 2009 Class 5A statechampionship track and field team .... Was coached by James Tigue... Also played soccer as a prep.
