Track and Field:
The Emory Track and Field team will head to Cleveland, OH this weekend for the UAA Championships, with competition beginning on Saturday.
The Eagles are coming off a split weekend at the Georgia Tech Invitational and the Mount Laurel Open. At Mount Laurel, the throwers combined for five wins as
Jeanette Hydukovich,
Ari Klasky and
Caroline Henry all notched wins. Hydukovich earned her pair of wins in the shot put and discus, throwing for 12.80m and 43.09m in each respective event. Henry earned her win in the hammer throw as she threw for 47.89m. The rookie also earned her PR in discus with a 42.45m effort to take third. On the men's side, Klasky earned his pair of wins in the shot put and discus with marks of 16.33m and 48.19m respectively while finishing second in the hammer throw with a 45.08m throw.
At the Georgia Tech Invitational, the Eagles saw top times from
Elizabeth Csikai as she took eighth in the 5000m amongst a crowded field of Division I, II and III athletes.
Cameron Gupta and
Davis Johnson also placed in the top 25 in the 3000m steeplechase with times of 10:51.54 and 11:12.44 while
Kelsey Coley placed 23
rd in the 100 hurdles with a time of 14.22 seconds. On the men's side,
Henry Brandstadter led the team with a fifth place finish in the 100m dash in a field of 105 runners while also taking 17
th in the long jump. The meet also saw
Ryan McGonigle place 15
th in the 800m with a time of 1:52.09.

Women's Tennis:
The #9 ranked women's tennis team will head to Altamonte Springs, FL to compete in the UAA Championships this weekend, with competition beginning Friday.
The Eagles wrapped up the regular season with a 7-0 sweep of Christopher Newport back on April 12 following a win over No. 6 Johns Hopkins. The team delivered straight-set decisions in all six singles matches to secure the win in their final match of the regular season. The team also took on NAIA opponent Georgia Gwinnett in a scrimmage this past week where they beat the Grizzly Bears 6-1.

Men's Tennis:
The #14 ranked Emory men's tennis team will travel to Altamonte Springs, FL for the UAA Championships this weekend, with matches beginning on Thursday.
The team concluded the regular season with a 4-3 win over #17 Gustavus Adolphus College at the Battleground Invite before falling tov . While the Gusties took the doubles point, the Eagles responded with four singles wins to battle back after a pair of 4-1 defeats the day prior.

Softball:
The Emory softball team will return from their midseason break for a midweek road doubleheader against #10 Huntingdon on Wednesday before they head to New York City for their final UAA road series against NYU this weekend.
The Eagles are riding the high of their 3-0 series sweep of UChicago two weeks ago, delivering a trio of wins as the Eagles go into the final few games of the season 20-10 and 10-2 in conference play.
In the UChicago series, the Eagles blanked the Maroons 5-0 in game one thanks to
Shivani Nangia's work at the plate and
Sydney Thune and
Lexi Bach's joint effort in the circle. The Saturday doubleheader saw a 5-4 walk off win in game one for the Eagles in extra innings thanks to a bases-loaded fielder's choice from freshman
Makaila Hope that scored classmate
Zoe Horning. Game two saw the Eagles win 4-1 as Thune delivered another great performance in relief, dishing five strikeouts with no runs on two hits in 4.1 innings.

The Eagles will be back in Atlanta for their final home UAA series this weekend as they take on Brandeis, with the first game set for Friday at 3:00 p.m. The team will also celebrate Senior Day before game one of Saturday's doubleheader.

Adrien Armstrong smoked a three-run homer and classmate
Cam Newell added a run-scoring single to give the Eagles the 5-1 lead, but the Maroons responded as they took the 15-5 lead to take down the Eagles.
