Emory University student-athletes Ben Pearce and Kevin Mu were honored as University Athletic Association Athletes of the Week for their performances during the week of March 9-15.

Pearce added another double double to his ledger Friday afternoon as he led the Emory Eagles past Yeshiva University, 101-80, in the NCAA Sweet 16. Pearce went for a team-high 26 points and added 10 assists as the Eagles advanced to their second straight Elite Eight. Pearce shot 8-for-17, including 2-6 from long range, and was 8-for-10 from the FT line.

At the Tiger Invitational, Mu shot a 69 in his third round to match his second-round score from day one to secure the individual title. The third-year shot six birdies and three bogeys on the day to earn his first individual title of the season and help the team place third overall.
