Emory University student-athletes Amanda Zheng and Ajay Kartik were named University Athletic Association Athletes of the Week for the performances during the week of September 28-October 4.

Zheng had a dominant showing at the Tartan Invitational as she was crowned the individual champion, breaking the individual three-round scoring record in the process with a 205 (-11). Behind her efforts, the Eagles captured the team win at the tournament while breaking the program record for three-round score.

Kartik shined in Memphis this past weekend, claiming his first Regional singles championship following his 6-3, 6-4 win against teammate Mitchell Deames. The junior also went undefeated in doubles with partner Sammy Nieder and will compete against Emory teammates Deames and Juno Pethe in the doubles final Tuesday afternoon.
