Sophomore Kaitlyn Nimmer was the offensive standout for the Eagles as Emory advanced to the Sweet 16 with wins over Methodist and Pacific Lutheran. On Saturday, Nimmer established a career-high with three assists as Emory won 6-0. In the second round, Nimmer supplied the heroics with the game-winning goal in the 72nd minute to send the Eagles to the second weekend with a 1-0 victory over PLU. Nimmer tied a program record with 10 shots in the game, including four on target.
