Junior Michelle Davidson led the Emory defense to a pair of shutouts in the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament as the Eagles advanced to the Round of 16 for the second time in the last three seasons. On Saturday, Davidson logged 64 minutes and added a goal as Emory trounced Methodist, 6-0. The Eagles did not allow a single shot in the win over the Monarchs. In the second round, Davidson was one of three players to play 90 minutes as Emory bounced Pacific Lutheran, 1-0. The Eagles' defense allowed just three shots (2 SOG) in the win.
