Senior Liyang Sun went three-for-three in individual event wins this past weekend and was part of one winning relay team as Emory won their home Fall Invitational. On Friday, Sun threw down a 1:50.54 to win the 200 IM before tying teammate Henri Bonnault for the win in the 100 Breast at 53.77. The next day, he claimed the 200 Breast by nearly four seconds as he went under two minutes at 1:57.82. In addition, Sun swam the Breaststroke leg in Emory's winning 200 Medley Relay (1:28.57) on Saturday, and was part of Emory's B team in the 400 Medley that finished second at 3:16.27 on Friday. Following the meet, Sun now ranks as the Division III leader in both the 100 and 200 Breaststrokes and is second nationally in the 200 IM. Furthermore, the 200 Medley Relay team owns the nation's top spot after the weekend.
