Freshman Allison Greeneway shined over the weekend as the Eagles won their home Fall Invitational while competing against athletes from Carson-Newman, Wingate, Georgia Southern and Cumberlands. Greeneway was an individual event winner in the 200 IM and 100 Butterfly and was part of all four winning relay teams for the Eagles. On Friday, Greeneway broke a seven-year program record in the 200 IM with her time of 2:01.23 - the fastest time in DIII so far this season by nearly three seconds. Then on Saturday, Greeneway was a winner in the 100 Fly as she posted a DIII-leading time of 54.71. She also added a top-three performance on Friday in the 100 Breast, posting a NCAA B Cut of 1:03.59. With the relays, she helped Emory win the 200 Freestyle (1:33.44), 400 Medley (3:42.50), 200 Medley (1:41.56) and 400 Freestyle (3:25.70). Three of the four times currently leads the nation while the 200 Freestyle mark ranks second.
