Sophomore goalkeeper Sharan Dodwani continued to excel between the posts for the Eagles as Emory beat Chicago, 4-2, on Saturday to win its second consecutive UAA championship. After setting a season-high in saves in his previous outing, Dodwani once more registered a career-high in stops as he turned away nine UC shot attempts in the win. He recorded five saves in the first half as Emory led 2-1 at the break before making four more stops in the second half to preserve the win. He has now won three straight decisions in goal since taking over the starting role as Emory gears up for the postseason.
