Sophomore Lorenzo Avalos was one of three Eagles to register a goal and an assist on Saturday as Emory defeated Chicago, 4-2, to capture its second consecutive UAA championship. Avalos picked up his fifth assist of the season on Emory's second goal as the Eagles led 2-0 after just 4:03 of game action. He would later score the Eagles' third goal in the 66th minute to open the second half scoring for both teams. The goal was his first in UAA play and fourth of the season. Avalos' three points marked a new career-high for the second-year forward.
