Senior Jeff Echols excelled on Saturday in Emory's win over Sewanee, recording a pair of individual wins with NCAA B Cuts. Echols swept the Butterfly events with ease, posting a time of of 1:49.20 in the 200 and went under 48 seconds to win the 100 at 47.95. Both of his times represent the fastest times in Division III so far this season and is the first swimmer to achieve a NCAA B Cut in either event. In the 200 Medley Relay, Echols swam the fly leg in Emory's B team that finished second with a time of 1:30.81.
