Junior Emily Kantrovitz continues to write her name in the Emory history books after winning her second consecutive ITA South Regional Singles title this past week. She becomes just the second Eagle to complete the feat after Ysabel Gonzalez-Rico won back to back titles in 2017 and 2018. She opened the tournament with a 6-0, 6-2 win in the first round followed by an 8-3 decision in the second round. On Sunday, Kantrovitz won her third round matchup 6-2, 6-1 followed by a win against doubles champion Ansley Carpenter in the quarterfinals. She competed on Monday against teammate Iris Berman in the semifinals taking the match with a 6-1, 4-6, 6-2 line before defeating teammate Izzy Antanavicius in the finals with a 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 decision.
