Senior Ben Pearce averaged 27.5 points and 6.0 assists as the No. 5 Emory Eagles went 2-0 at home against Brandeis and #22 NYU. On Friday, Pearce became the third-ever player to reach 1,800 career points with his 24-point outing as the Eagles topped Brandeis 71-64. Then on Sunday, Pearce had a monster game with 31 points and nine assists as the Eagles routed the Violets, 103-80. Pearce shot 16-for-36 (44.4%) from the floor, including 6-for-16 from 3pt range, and was 17-for-20 from the FT line. He added five rebounds, one block and one steal across the two wins.
