Ari broke the program shotput record this weekend at the Samford Invitational that he previously set a few weeks ago at the Birmingham Indoor Icebreaker. The previous record was a 15.09m mark and he beat that by nearly 1.38m to throw a 16.47m this weekend, taking fifth overall in the event.
