Sophomore Elodie Mitchell collected a pair of individual event wins for the Eagles as Emory won the Denison Invitational this past week while competing against swimmers from Denison and Depauw. Mitchell took the top spot on consecutive days in the 200 Freestyle (1:50.54) and 200 Fly (2:00.58) and was a second place finisher in the 500 Freestyle on night one with a time of 4:55.44. Mitchell also aided in the Emory relay efforts as she was part of the Eagles' A group in the 800 Freestyle, swimming anchor as the team finished second at 7:26.16, and was also the anchor leg in the 400 Freestyle as Emory's B team took third at 3:26.62.
