Sophomore Ari Klasky set a new program record in the shot put at the Birmingham Indoor Icebreaker on Friday afternoon. He threw a distance of 15.09m in the event to rank third in the UAA and 32nd in the nation. Klasky also competed in the weight throw with a mark of 14.80m ranking second in the UAA and 89th in the nation.
