Senior Sophia Garcia secured another clean sheet on Saturday as the No. 2 ranked Emory women's soccer team blanked No. 8 Brandeis, 3-0, in Waltham. Garcia made five saves on the afternoon to record her third consecutive shutout as well as her sixth solo clean sheet of the year. A pivotal save was made by Garcia in the 52nd minute when she denied a Brandeis penalty kick opportunity, preserving a 1-0 Eagles' lead. The save immediately led to another Emory score as the Eagles cashed in on their very next possession, putting the game out of reach for the Judges at 2-0, en route to the three-goal victory.
