Freshman Ryan Van de Bergh got his collegiate career off to an impressive start when he ran to a 20th place finish at the KSU Stan Sims Opener this past weekend. The men competed in a four-mile race, with Van de Bergh clocking in at 20:13.61 in a field comprised of primarily NCAA Division I competitors. Van de Bergh was the first Eagle to cross the finish line in his first collegiate race, helping the Eagles finish fourth at the event.
