Freshman Carson Kalish had a standout debut as the Eagles battled Division I's Queens University of Charlotte in the season opener on Saturday. Kalish collected one of Emory's five event wins during the meet as he took the top spot in the 200 Fly at 1:51.69. Kalish added additional top performances in the 200 IM (2nd, 1:53.48) and 100 Fly (3rd, 50.35), and was part of Emory's top relay team in the 400 Medley as the Eagles' A group finished second at 3:20.39.
