Senior Liyang Sun was one of four Emory event winners as the Eagles opened their season on Saturday at Georgia Tech. Sun claimed first place in the 100 Breaststroke at 55.48 and was second in the 200 Breaststroke at 2:06.06. Additionally, Sun swam the breaststroke leg in Emory's top 200 Medley Relay team that finished third at 1:30.35 and was part of Emory's E relay squad in the 400 Freestyle that placed ninth at 3:18.13.
