Senior Josh Grand continued his torrid pace to start the season as he played a part in five of the Eagles' seven goals over the weekend as Emory went unbeaten at the John P. Salamone Invitational with wins over NC Wesleyan and Wisconsin Lutheran. On Friday, Grand earned the game-winning goal vs. NCW as he converted a PK opportunity in the 53rd minute to help Emory defeat the Battling Bishops, 1-0. Then on Sunday, Grand had a truly historic performance as he set an Emory record with four assists as the Eagles scored six second half goals to topple WLC, 6-0. Grand assisted on each of Emory's first four goals that were scored in a period of 4:43 minutes of game action. His four assists also represented the most by any men's soccer player, across any NCAA division, in a game so far this season.
